April 2025 Community Newsletter
Annual Meeting
Please join us for the community annual meeting tomorrow at Paramount Elementary at 6pm. The meeting packet has been posted on the community portal and website, and mailed. We look forward to your participate, either in person or by proxy.
Clubhouse Parking Lot
Please do not use the clubhouse parking lot to park your extra cars, trailers, or other vehicles. This parking area is only for residents who are using the clubhouse facilities. Violators will be towed away at your own expense. Also, the clubhouse is being re-sealed and striped next week on May 6th. The parking lot will be closed for the day.
Trash
There are many convenient restaurants and establishments within walking distance of our community. We love that residents are taking advantage of these opportunities. However, we’ve begun to notice a lot more trash from them discarded around the community. Please make sure you’re taking trash home to be put in your trash receptacle. Also, the clubhouse dumpster is for clubhouse events, not for your personal home trash.
Pet Etiquette
Residents have observed Crosby Park being utilized as an off-leash dog park. Dogs should always be leashed when off your property to prevent unexpected encounters with people, other animals and cars. Please remember to clean up after your pet. It’s not pleasant, but responsible pet ownership requires it. Respect others and keep public spaces and parks clean for everyone.
Tree & Shrub Maintenance
Delivery drivers reported over-grown tree limbs preventing their ability to park delivery trucks safely, necessitating parking in the middle of the street which disrupts traffic and creates a hazard for vehicles and pedestrians. City Code requires a minimum 8’ vertical clearance over the sidewalk and 14′ over streets. Pruning overgrown limbs will help maintain the health of your trees, preventing garbage trucks and other oversized vehicles from damaging limbs. Shrubs should also be pruned and not impede pedestrian traffic.
Food Trucks
We have had some requests for food trucks to visit the community from time to time. Some have come by the clubhouse, and some to parks. We’re open to this if any volunteer or volunteers want to help coordinate this. On June 2nd and July 7th, SweetnSimple and Rightsideoftheboat FishnChips will be visiting Crosby Park.
