Garage Sale
Do you have “stuff” to get rid of? Well, here’s your chance… Saturday, September 9th is the fall garage sale. We’ve placed an ad in the paper, and will post a banner at the entrance. Residents are encouraged to post on social media and welcome to put out additional directional signs on the day of. If you have any remaining items you can donate to a local youth ranch, Savers, or call St. Vincent de Paul, as they will sometimes do pickups. You can also coordinate with the trash services for any additional pickups.
Back to School
School is starting again all over the valley. Please be sure to slow down, and be watchful of kids crossing the streets headed to and from school. Parents, please make sure kids know where the best crossing locations are.
Dues
Dues are billed out semi-annually in January and July. If you have not paid your second half dues you are late, and have incurred a late fee and had your pool key revoked. If you do not respond by the end of the month, your account will go to collections.
Board Meetings
Our new board is meeting monthly. Dates are posted on the community calendar as they are scheduled. Residents are welcome to attend. If there’s anything you would like to see the Board review, please send it to: hoa@brightoncorp.com.
Volunteers Needed
If you’re looking for a way to get involved, we are in need of a few more volunteers for the Oversite committee to help report violations in the community. If you are interested, please reach out to hoa@brightoncorp.com today.
Fall Trimming
It’s time to start trimming shrubs and trees that are growing into or over sidewalks and streets. Sidewalks should be clear for passage up to 8ft in height, and streets up to 14ft in height.
Motorized Vehicles
If you have a small motorized scooter, bike, or car that children are driving please make sure they know not to jump out into the street from between cars, and that these are not allowed in the common areas where they are tearing up the grass. Don’t race them on the sidewalks or busy roads either. Please also do not park golf carts in the grass or on sidewalks.
Dogs
Please dispose of your pet waste in your own garbage can or one of the garbage cans provided at the pools or clubhouse. It’s ridiculous to clean up and then leave the bag in the grass or behind a sign.
Apple Watch
There was an Apple Watch found at the Lange pool. If you lost this, please reach out.
Ada County Mosquito
Mosquitos are out. If you have concerns or need abatement, you can reach out to Ada County at 208-577-4646.
