THANK YOU!

The 4th of July celebration was a huge success. Thank you to all who helped put this on and everyone who attended. You may view photos from the photo booth at: https://photoboothboise.smugmug.com/Paramount-July-4th-2023/. There’s also additional photos posted at:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oMT3XJoqgfmWOhUJ8Hj5MxoeYgYPUIrO?usp=sharing.

Big thanks to Mary Jo Buckendorf for the ice cream social as well!

Fireworks

Aerial fireworks are illegal! Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. This year’s reports about damage to trampolines, homes, yards, and lack of cleanup after the holiday were excessive. If you choose to use legal fireworks for future events or holidays, please be sure to be safe and courteous to neighbors.

Pool Reminders

Don’t break the RULES!!! They are in place for everyone’s enjoyment and safety. Parents, you are in charge of your children, so most of those are broken by you… Please make sure you and your family or guests are adhering to the below:

  • Use appropriate plastic swim pants for those still potty training. Basic swim diapers are not enough (they leak) and this causes pool shutdowns. You are on camera, and the key system monitors when go to the pool. You will be charged for cleanup costs if caught.
  • No oversized inflatables!
  • Matts have been placed for areas that get slick when wet, please leave them on the decks where they are and do not put them in the pools.
  • The pool closes at 10pm. After 10pm you are trespassing, and we will report to the police and turn of cards.
  • Do not let people in without a key!!!! It’s been posted on social media sites that our community pools don’t have “monitors”. Letting outside people in will fill the pools faster, wear them down, and then there’s no way to hold anyone responsible for any damage or issues they cause. We’ve seen lots of kids push the button to let people in as well. Please make sure they know not to do this as well. If you bring in guests, please make sure you are being courteous to other owners by not completely over-taking the pool.
  • The pool is not your babysitter. Kids must be 13 years of age to go alone, and if under 13, they must be accompanied by someone 18 years and older. A 13-year-old sibling cannot watch a younger sibling.
  • Please be courteous to others also at the pool! No throwing toys or balls over others or across the pool, and no running and screaming! If your kid is running and screaming stop them.
  • Use headphones, not everyone likes your music.
  • No food or drinks in the pool. Keep this to the sides and away from the water, and clean up your trash.
  • This is a neighborhood pool, wear appropriate attire. No tighty-whities, or undergarments, and please keep it classy. Remember is a family community.
  • Leave the city garbage cans outside the pool gates. These are used by dog walkers and others in the community, so should not be inside the pool area.
  • Do not bring pets inside the pool area, and don’t tie pets up outside the pools, so they can bark the entire time for your attention. Take them home.

Ada County Mosquito

Mosquitos are out. If you have concerns or need abatement, you can reach out to Ada County at 208-577-4646.

Volunteers Needed

If you’re looking for a way to get involved, we are in need of a few more volunteers for the Oversite committee to help report violations in the community. If you are interested, please reach out to hoa@brightoncorp.com today.

Vandalism & Crime Report

We’ve had reports of garbage cans going missing, decorations disappearing, egging, ding-dong ditching, late night meetings in the parks, so please make sure you know what your teens are doing. Want to know what kind of crime has been reported in our area? You can view this online at: https://gisprod.adacounty.id.gov/apps/crimemapper/.

Dogs

Please remember to leash your dogs at all times when not confined to your property. Please make sure if you walk them, that you also pick up after them. None of our open green spaces or parks are dog parks, so do not let them roam free.

Motorized Vehicles

If you have a small motorized scooter, bike, or car that children are driving please make sure they know not to jump out into the street from between cars, and that these are not allowed in the common areas where they are tearing up the grass. Please also do not park golf carts in the grass or on sidewalks.

Reservations

Reservations for the clubhouse main room can be made online at: https://paramount-idaho.com/calendar/. Please know that reserving the main room does not include exclusive use of the gym or pool area. All residents will still have access and be able to use the gym, pool, and even restrooms during the time of your reservation.
