Fireworks
Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. We also ask that neighbors be courteous to each other and surrounding pets who may not enjoy the holiday as much. If you choose to use legal fireworks, here are some great tips from the National Safety Council.
Ada County Mosquito
Mosquitos are out. If you have concerns or need abatement, you can reach out to Ada County at 208-577-4646.
Volunteers Needed
If you’re looking for a way to get involved, we are in need of a few more volunteers for the Oversite committee to help report violations in the community. If you are interested, please reach out to hoa@brightoncorp.com today.
Community Structures
Throughout the community we have many structures, such as arbors for shade and entry monuments and signs. These items are not for climbing. We’ve had reports of kids on top of the arbor structures and monument signs. We don’t want anyone getting hurt, or any damage to occur to the structures. Please share with the kids you know that these are not for climbing.
Neighborhood Street Meets
A volunteer in the community is putting together some street meets again. We did a couple last season. These are gatherings of just the homes on your street, so residents can get to know their immediate neighbors and socialize. Keep a watch out for flyers as they get organized.
Clubhouse
With the temperatures getting warmer, please don’t leave the doors or windows propped open at the clubhouse. It lets out all the A/C. Also, we’ve been trying to crack down on those that are not cleaning up after their parties. The floors are atrocious, and residents will start being charged for the carpet cleaning costs.
Pool Reminders
Please help us have a great swimming season by knowing the RULES and adhering to them. They are for everyone’s enjoyment and safety!
- No oversized inflatables!
- The pool closes at 10pm. After 10pm you are trespassing, and we will report to the police and turn of cards.
- Do not let people in without a key.
- The pool is not your babysitter. Kids must be 13 years of age to go alone, and if under 13, they must be accompanied by someone 18 years and older. A 13-year-old sibling cannot watch a younger sibling.
- Please be courteous to others also at the pool! No throwing toys or balls over others or across the pool.
- Use headphones, not everyone likes your music.
- No food or drinks in the pool. Keep this to the sides and away from the water, and clean up your trash.
- Use appropriate plastic swim pants for those still potty training. Basic swim diapers are not enough (they leak) and this causes pool shutdowns.
- This is a neighborhood pool, wear appropriate attire. No tighty-whities, or undergarments, and please keep it classy.
