Spring Forward

Spring is right around the corner, even if it doesn’t feel that way quite yet. Make sure to set your clocks forward on March 12th, for daylight savings, and start preparing yourself for landscaping maintenance. Please don’t blow leaves or clippings into the streets. It makes a mess of the streets and storm water drains, and just blows all over other yards.

Easter Egg Hunt

Paramount is holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st. The first hunt will be at 4pm, and the evening hunt will start at 9pm. The evening hunt will be for older kids (such as 10-14yrs). This is just a suggested age, and all families are welcome to participate in either hunt. We are asking for 20 filled eggs per child, and they must indicate daytime or nighttime hunt when dropped off. Families will need to bring their own baskets and flashlights for the nighttime hunt. Drop off locations and a signup genius for helpers will come out soon. We look forward to an awesome event and hope you join us!

Irrigation Water

There’s been lots of questions on when water will be delivered. Our community receives water mainly from Settler’s Irrigation. Water turn on is estimated around April 15th, but we’ll send out updates as we get updates from the irrigation districts.

Board Volunteers

Currently, we have five members on the Board; Donn Doss, John Williams, Patrick Grace, Joyce Bolen, and Richard Hughes. Donn, Joyce, and John’s terms are up, so there are 3 openings to be filled. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please fill out the Board Volunteer Form by no later than Friday, March 17, 2023. The information provided about yourself will be shared with the community, so members can vote.

Community Calendar

Keeping a community together through the years is best done with fun, meaningful community activities. Be sure to check the online calendar to see what’s coming. We’re always looking for volunteers to help coordinate these activities. If you have an interest in doing an event in the neighborhood, let us know by reaching out to management via email: hoa@brightoncorp.com.

General Reminders

If you’ve been in the community a while, you’ve likely heard this before, but please read and share with others, as these things are still happening…

  • Clean up after your dog, and take waste bags with you. There are a lot of waste bags being left around the community. You chose to have a pet, now be responsible.
  • Leash your dog at all times when not on your own property. Even if your dog is nice, others may be scared or allergic, or it may be the one time they are not nice. Don’t risk it, and leash them.
  • See something, Say something! Report suspicious activity to the police, such as cars parked in odd locations.
  • This is a neighborhood, not the Indy 500, slow down, and tell kids to do the same.
  • Cleanup after using the clubhouse. Trash goes in the trash can, and if full there are more bags inside the can, and a dumpster outside for the full bag.
