Annual Meeting
Thank you greatly to all who attended or participated in the annual community meeting. It was a great turnout, and we’re so glad to have such a wonderful group of community members who really make our community a great place to live.
Annual Community Garage Sale
The annual community garage sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You are welcome to start and stop as you please. Residents that participate should set their items in the driveway the day of the sale and clean up the same day. For unsold items, consider donating to local charities like a Youth Ranch or St. Vincent de Paul. Some charities will pick up items. Coordination with trash services is also an option for disposal. An advertisement will be in the Idaho Statesman and signs will be placed at entrances. Residents are encouraged to share on social media and put up directional signs on the event day. Good luck to everyone participating!
Pool Chairs
It’s been noticed that residents are “saving” chairs by laying out towels and stuff early in the morning, and then leaving the pool and coming back later in the day. We have way too many people in this community for you to do this, so no seat “saving”.
Facilities Parking
Please do not use the clubhouse or pool parking lots to park your extra cars, trailers, or other vehicles. These parking areas are only for residents who are using the facilities. Violators will be towed away at your own expense.
Pet Etiquette
We know we say it constantly, but hopefully it will soon sink in to those that are still not getting it… Dogs should always be leashed when off your property to prevent unexpected encounters with people, other animals and cars. Please remember to clean up after your pet. It’s not pleasant, but responsible pet ownership requires it. Respect others and keep public spaces and parks clean for everyone.
Tree & Shrub Maintenance
Our community is maturing, and while it’s a beautiful thing, it also brings more maintenance needs. Delivery drivers reported over-grown tree limbs preventing their ability to park delivery trucks safely, necessitating parking in the middle of the street which disrupts traffic and creates a hazard for vehicles and pedestrians. City Code requires a minimum 8’ vertical clearance over the sidewalk and 14′ over streets. Pruning overgrown limbs will help maintain the health of your trees, preventing garbage trucks and other oversized vehicles from damaging limbs. Shrubs should also be pruned and not impede pedestrian traffic.
Food Trucks
We have had some requests for food trucks to visit the community from time to time. Some have come by the clubhouse, and some to parks. We’re open to this if any volunteer or volunteers want to help coordinate this. On June 2nd and July 7th, SweetnSimple and Rightsideoftheboat FishnChips will be visiting Crosby Park.
