Irrigation Update

Irrigation water will not be returning this season. Due to the tragic events that occurred last week, we are still assessing damage and how to re-build. Since irrigation is running out this weekend, we won’t be able to get things going before then. Please use your hoses for any watering needs. We also ask that you remind all drivers in your household to be careful when driving through the Linder & Cayuse Creek entrance, as we will have people working in the center of the road, where the pump house is, and want to keep them safe.

Getting Dark

Now that Fall has arrived, the nights are getting longer. In order to help keep our community well lit and safe, please make sure your exterior lights are on and working. If you notice a streetlights not working right, please report them to the City of Meridian. If you notice any entries or decorative lights not working, you can report them to hoa@brightoncorp.com.

Halloween Contest

It’s back! It’s time for the annual Halloween home decorating contest. We love seeing everyone’s spooky, cooky, funny, and creative ideas. If you want to participate, decorate your home in your favorite Halloween decor, and judges will come around between October 21-25th to pick the top 7 homes, who will receive gift card prizes.

Fall Lawn Maintenance

It’s time to start trimming shrubs and trees that are growing into or over sidewalks and streets. Sidewalks should be clear for passage up to 8ft in height, and streets up to 14ft in height. It’s also time to start watching for leaves to drop. Please try to clean these up regularly, so they are not left to blow all into your neighbor’s yards. Don’t let your plants block signs or corners. This is for safety. Our yards are part of the first impressions of the community, so please keep them up.

Holiday Decorations

It’s that time of year where so many people decorate for the holidays. We love to see all festivity! However, we ask that you remember temporary holiday decorations may be installed 30 days prior to the holiday and should be removed within 30 days after the holiday, vendor scheduling and weather permitting.
